The RentNKC Tenant Text Program

RentNKC Property Management, Inc. operates a tenant communications program via SMS text message from the number (816) 608-8883. This service is powered by On A Lead, LLC (OnALead), our authorized technology platform provider and registered ISV with Twilio Inc.

How to Opt In

You opt in to receive text messages from RentNKC by any of the following methods:

By providing your number through any of these methods you consent to receive the property management messages described below. Consent is not required as a condition of tenancy or services.

Types of Messages You Will Receive

Messages from (816) 608-8883 are limited to property management communications including:

This is not a marketing program. You will not receive promotional or advertising messages.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You may typically receive one to three messages per maintenance request lifecycle, one to two messages per billing cycle related to rent, and additional messages as needed for safety or emergency notices.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan. RentNKC does not charge for text messages.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message from (816) 608-8883 at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may re-enroll at any time by texting START to (816) 608-8883, signing up again at sms.rentnkc.com, or contacting us directly.

No Sharing of SMS Data

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Supported Carriers and Carrier Liability

This service is available on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Carrier support may vary. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Technology Provider

SMS communications are delivered through On A Lead, LLC operating as an authorized Independent Software Vendor (ISV) through Twilio Inc. On A Lead, LLC processes message traffic solely to deliver RentNKC's tenant communications and does not use your data for any other purpose.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our SMS service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
